It’ll be a mad rush tonight and the next morning. I don’t think there’ll be time for any posting for the post prom pics and stuff.

ANyway, I’m looking forward for tomorrow’s morning flight. Bye people! Please please please don’t call me unless there’s important things alright? =)

Farewell Assembly

October 13th, 2006 by blarbur

Well, today marks the end of another chapter of my life. How I wish the assembly would never end, how I wish that the skits put up by the students and the teachers would last forever, how I wish I’ll never have to say goodbye to VJC.

It’s been a memorable 2 years for me, and of course it is true for the other graduating year 2s. Somehow, I feel like staying in VJC for a year or so, to enjoy the happy moments once more. Wushu, OGL, Kayaking, Floorball and 05S25. Somehow, they’ve been part of my life. How I wish that I’m two years younger, and relive the special moments again.

Anyway, the farewell assembly has been an emotional one for me ,the other years 2s and Mrs Chan. She’ll be leaving with us and a new principal will be coming from HCI. Goosh! I hope he’ll maintain the VJ culture and be as gung ho as Mrs Chan. Thanks for allowing me to enjoy VJC to the fullest with all your lax rules and full day offs.

Anyway, after the assembly, the special CT session was practically phototaking session. Everyone feels like a star! All the flashlights and the confusion really make us blur. Well, my testimonial is really out of proportion. Just 3 to 4 lines for my Intellectual and Interpersonal qualities and a large chunk on Intrapersonal qualities. Well, just heck la!

Kushin-Bo for class lunch. Wasn’t as fantastic as the first time. Nevertheless, enjoyed myself with 10 Lian Pai with Qing Hui and Hong Yi taking the first 5 digits while Kheng Yong and I started from 6 to 10. Spastic pictures. Kheng Yong was totally amazed by how I ate the soba. He take 3 times to finish one small portion of soba while I K.O. it with just one mouth. =P Train up OKY, we’ll try it next time. =D Mass phototaking again and started to chat from Korean dramas to life in VJ. Well, the 28 dollars is definitely worth it not because of the food, but the fabulous accompany. Definitely, it is a memorable day of my life. =)

PS: The 10 Lian Pai photos should never to expose to anyone else accept the people in our class. SO DON’T ASK ME FOR IT!

Mooncake Fest

October 6th, 2006 by blarbur

Well, prelims results are out. My results were average. Satisfied i guess. Maybe not for Bio la. Afterall, I thought it will be my first A. Congrats to Fabian who topped the Chem test. An pwning 91 marks. Almost doubled my score. Haha.

Seen plenty of people with post prelims syndromes these days. It’s all written on their faces. Well, sometimes is better to leave them alone and not to bother about their businesses. As what Mrs Yik says, it’s really really terrible to talk about your "poor" grades around people with poorer grades than you. So check out the signs people and be sensitive to the people around you nowadays. =)

Well, not a very good note to start with. Anyway, today has been a fun filled day, probably one of the days that i really enjoyed myself this year. Laugh till I teared by Sher Li with her Ah Bian thingy. Followed by a short game of floorball and squash before I head down to East Coast Park to meet the fellow Wushu people for Mooncake cum Birthday cum Post promos celebration. Some of the year twos arh.. Can play floorball but can’t come for the gathering, while some have to attend Bio retest and tuition. Well, the pictures below might just make you regret your choice.

So anyway, we had fun attacking each other with chocolates, limbo rocking, jumping, eating mooncakes, creating unflyable rockets, burning and cam whoring. Haha. Well, it’s gonna be 2 months from now that we can get out and play together!

Anyway, to the year 1s, All the very best for your promos although I kept encouraging you guys to do a 3 year service ( I definitely don’t hope so). And to those people taking their A’s this year, Good Luck and All the very best. Just do your best and don’t think too much about it after the paper. Jia You! =D

Post Prelims

September 21st, 2006 by blarbur

Woohoo~ It’s officially over. But I’ve been celebrating since last Friday. Well, Bio and Chem papers on the second week is relatively easier and there’s sufficient time to think about and slowly pick your answer. Anyway, WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT PRELIMS? It’s not in my dictionary anymore. =) CHEERS!

Had a hell lot of fun today with some pals. Totally awesome companions. We ordered around 10 dishes of fried fish and had plenty of satays without feeling embarrassed. Just gobble down whatever you can as we’ve been eating home cook food and Mc’s for the past few weeks.

Afterwhich, it’s LAN GAMING! Damn! Now i finally realised how much I’ve been missing out. The last time i went LAN gaming was like when I was in Sec 2? Well, I don’t really wanna waste $1.50 per hour just to play games in the LAN shop since I can set up one at home. But tell you what, LAN gaming is really Zzz if you play alone, but when you have a gang of 8 boys killing each other in DOTA and CS, the feeling is totally different. Oh! It is my first time playing DOTA today. Yes! I know it’s kinda late, but it’s better than never. Thought i still couldn’t get what they are trying to do with all those mixing of artefacts. Bryan was telling me that it was some kinda recepie that comes with experience. Who cares. But I managed to earn thousands of dollars when the rest had some mere hundred coins. =P  BTW, I was kana killed more than 10 times for the first game, but it was reduce to 5 times on the second and we won! haha. =D =D =D

Total Satisfaction!

I’ve Given Up On You

September 13th, 2006 by blarbur

Well, it’s rather sad for us to go on our separate ways. Although I miss the days we’ve been spending together for the past 2 years, I know that this is the best  solution for both of us. The love hate relationship that I wouldn’t have thought of coming to this end has just happened.

No, it wasn’t an abrupt decision. I’ve been pondering about it since the start of this year. But I don’t really see the impact that you would cause then. I defied the orders from the "holy" one, whom has persistantly ask me to reconsider my choice. Now, I’m defeated. But I’ll never forget the memories that we’ve shared together. I don’t regret of taking you up from the start. You’ve been an important part of my life. Thanks for the skills that you’ve given me.

Goodbye, Economics. =)

Study Break!

August 30th, 2006 by blarbur

For your information, I’ve become a Mcdonald’s Mac Tonight surveyor. For the past 3 days, I’ve been to 3 different Mcdonald’s restaurant, namely Serangoon Central, Changi Airport T2 and Kovan on 3 consecutive nights with Jackson and Chen Ting. No more tonight alright!Basically, the staffs in Central Mac is really nice and the other two has great seats that ain’t too low. But somehow, I really wonder why Mcdonald offer this kind of 24hrs service when I really see no customers from 12 to 6 in the morning. And their McDelivery is not that popular too.

Anyway, had great companies during these 3 days as we had boy to boy talks. LOL. But I still it ain’t right to chiong given the current situtation Jackson. But defintely I do agree with you and believe in your doctrine. It’s more about the subject yeah. And do ask me out to KAYAK after A’s. I really wanna kayak after not doing so since last December.

And to YOU! Tell me la. It’s just a yes and no question. I won’t be asking you anymore as I will wait patiently for your reply. But I damn curious okay?! Don’t keep me guessing. I’m still waiting for your chocolates too. =P

Oh! And Happy Birthday Eunice! Hahs. Talking to you right now but who cares. Just hope that everything will be alright and be optimistic girl! =D

Well, to all teachers out there, have a great long weekend! Happy Teacher’s Day! =D

CHOCOLATES!

August 24th, 2006 by blarbur

Goosh. Something that I crave for, yet can’t have it at this moment. Cough cough cough! Down with sore throat and a bad cough recently. The disease is spreading! Take cover!!

Well, was quite surprised to receive a call from some unidentified caller. " Hey! I’m your angel cum mortal.." Stunned. Wasn’t it all over since 14th of February? Well, really have to thanks my angel cum mortal for her little gift before prelims. I’ll Jia You De!!! =D Thanks alot! Too bad that I can’t eat the chocolates now, neither will i bare to devour the cute little chocolates that she brought. Well, shall leave it till the study break when I need some serotonin to ease the stress level or maybe for post prelims celebrations. =P But I really wonder will these chocolates last that long before the temptation sets in.

Well.. To someone who you think I will talk something bad about you, hope you get well soon and take good care!

All the best to the poor graduating students who are mugging hard for their prelims. Just do your best! =)

Floorball =)

July 28th, 2006 by blarbur

I blog to keep some happy memories. I don’t blog just for you to see.

Just did something out of the blue yesterday. Never expected. But well, it’s just that come straight to my mind. Well, it’s appreciated. =)

School’s short today. If not because of the important, latic acid driven econs lecture, I would just sleep in my comfortable bed. Nonetheless, it’s always right to go with the flow in my life, and I was rewarded with a game of floorball. Did i say "a game".

Anyway, didn’t went out with the class. Not too sure where they going anyway. But I think a good floorball game simply own class outings. And the feeling after a record breaking 3 hour of agressive floorball match is really priceless. Didn’t expect myself to play for so long. I ain’t a good runner and i suck at endurance. But today just proves everything. =P Huge feat. And I think I only lost 2 games out of the hundreds of game we played. Damn Shuang. Especially you manage to score from a long range. Muahaha. Oh, Wai Kin is like some floorball sharpshooter sia. Nice team effort dude. Made lotsa floorball friends today. Haha. Floorball game next week! ok?

Mixed feelings recently. I’ve tried not to think about it, but it just drift about incessantly. To be or not to be? What are you thinking? What are those things? Is it best left untouched? or to fight a war silently? Of course, I think I’ll feel better if everyone is truthful and open to each other. =)

July 21st, 2006 by blarbur

It’s quite hard to get noticed recently. Maybe prelim is around the corner.

Anyway, was quite disappointed to see some attitudes shown by people around me. Facts are not checked and an accusation is made. Reaction after an explantion? No sign of regret. Instead, what I get is a "haha whatever". Do you like to be in that spot too? It’s not the first time already and I get really irritated when someone accused me of something that I’ve never done before. Hope that you will think of the consequences before spouting nonsense out of your mouth.

Quite a fruitful day today. In conjunction with racial harmony day, I was invited back to Xinmin to teach the kids some Wushu moves today. Participation rate was as expected. =) But it was fun torturing the kids with Wu Bu Quan. LOL. Teaching was never fun like this before. See them shaking uncontrollably when I ask them to pause at Tan Tui, Xu Bu. LOL. Oh! Thanks Hui Shan for the lovely gift. Ms/Mrs Ho was telling me that you actually painstakingly went down to look for the gift. Well, your hardwork is greatly appreciated.

Somehow, the Wushu boys are much Siao On about racial harmony day than the girls. Quite funny to see Hong Wei in that golden chinese clothing and Jon in some green malay costume. Ah! And I saw a very nice pink kimono worn by.. worn by.. Oops! Sorry! I forget your name le. Jia Hui? Should be la. But apparently the worn didn’t last the whole day as the amount of costumes worn decreases as the air gets more humid. Somehow, I just feel that it’s a pity that the Wushu guys didn’t wear the Biao Yan Fu down together. LOL. It’ll be total coolness sia. Heh! =P

Sweet Memories

July 15th, 2006 by blarbur

Nevermind about those boring Top 3 Achievements.

Nevermind about the tutorials.

Nevermind about not talking to the frequent people that I always talk to.

Cos there’s more important stuff to blog about during yesterday and today.

Firstly, I was totally impressed by Qing Hui’s outstanding powerpoint presentation of the European painting. Totally fantastic. Lots of beautiful paintings from past to present. Something like Renaissance, Rococo and Impressionism. And I definitely prefer the older art pieces than the newer modern ones like abstract art. By the way, to my S25 mates, fresco is not a painting on the wall. Just checked that out. Teacher can be wrong sometimes.

Mad rush after school. But it was a fun one cause I’m not the last one to arrive! =) Glad to see them again. Away from the facades and we spent a great time together. Dead Man Chest is a hilarious show. Sorry Mei for the constant cackling. Anyway, Happy 18th Birthday Mei in advance! Don’t ask me why am I so nice to you. Cos you worth more than everything in my life. =) And Des, get well soon yeah and sorry for making you finishing every single bit left though you’re sick. Oh yeah, you guys can check in to my room anytime lor. 20 bucks per night! =) Muggin allowed too if you can. =P

CIPed today. Dream On. Started donation at around 11am and ended at around 5.30pm.The shirt given is like some kind of tight fit shirt on me la. And Eunice shirt looks totally oversized. Met some S27 peeps at YMCA. Law was totally late. Went up and down orchard road. Saw lots of friends along the road, which I stayed and chat a little while the two of them waited for me. SORRY! Kinda surprised to see so many primary school friends around and they still remember my name while I’ve forgotten theirs. Sorry once again. Kinda bad at names, really. CIP was kinda crazy cos we actually just didn’t leave any stones unturned. EXCEPT for the stupid foreigners. But after being enlightened by Eunice, I’ve decided not to touch those people. Cos they just don’t get what we’re doing.

Lesson learnt:

1. Eunice got loads of money cos she bought 2 starbucks drink in an hour and another before we return the stuff. Just can’t get it when she actually exclaimed that it’s not worth to buy a 4 dollar duck noodle when a starbuck coffee cost her 6 bucks. Hah!

2. Approach the kids for donations cause they are not that mean to turn you off.

3. Just whack anyone on the street, including those carpark attendants and that Indian guy who opens the door at Mandarin Hotel.

4. Smokers tend to be more generous and willing to donate.

5. Looks can be deceiving, so although a Chao Ang Mo might look filthy rich by the way they dress, they wouldn’t donate as compared to a normal looking auntie that donated 10 bucks and she actually asked for the address to send a cheque to.

6. Free starbucks drinks can be taken from the shopping centre right opposite Mandarin Hotel.

7. Never donate to that Indian auntie at the cross road near Cineleisure cause she’s filthy rich already.

8. Some people actually called me Da Ge to swoop donation bags.

9. Aunties love me.

10. Cute TKGS girls too. LOL. I donated to one girl and the three donated to me. Good deal eh. =P

11. Somehow, I just can collect more than others. Oh I’m so arrogant. Head Butt Me!!!

Anyway, these are some jokes that we encountered la. Oh shit! And I’m actually stubborn enough to donate two dollar for some erm? Some thing. Yeah. CRAP!

Rushed down to Xinmin’s Track & Field BBQ. It’s a totally beautiful place. It was my first time there and I swear that I’ll go back there one day. It’s so near my place and I’ve never seen such beautiful houses in my entire life. One day, I’ll get some house like that and it will be great if Melanie is my neighbor. Her father works in a studio and he actually had all the sound system at home. So we actually had R&B songs the whole night through. Too bad the people don’t club, if not the platform will be a nice place to dance on. Melanie’s house has an outdoor hut that consist an 8 feet pool table which is always occupied by the professional snookers. Got a chance to play but I was soon relegated within minutes! Damn.

It’s a good time catching up with all the friends that left Xinmin. Army stories from Teck Wee, Li Qia and his experience of winning the 400m hurdles, Wilson with his nonsense. How I wish we can have this kind of session every year. Anyway, it’s quite sad that this BBQ session was actually held to officially close the Track & Field team as Mr Singh has no successors. It was kinda pity to see it end of, but the happy memories we shared together will never be forgotten. The tears, the blood, the sweat and the friendship that we forged have been etched in our hearts. See you guys soon. =) And to that young thrower that we had a little chat on the bus with, hope our conversation can enlighten you. =)

Thanks Dad for changing the bedsheets for me today!

Thanks Sister for the lovely tiramisu. Can be improved.=)

Thanks Law for accompanying me throughout today’s CIP when you actually can stay at home and sleep and rot.

Thanks Jonathan Loh and his pal for buying the CD reluctantly. LOL

Thanks Huan Yuet for the donation when you can actually donate 8 more bucks.

Thanks to the Xinmin Track & Field Team for such a wonderful dinner.

Thanks to Mr Singh for your guidance all these years in Xinmin and giving me a chance to lead the team.

And thanks to Mei and Des for everything yesterday! =D

Oh! Happy 18th Birthday Yi Jia and Yvonne!

And Sorry to the ATS Wushu people that I couldn’t get down to meet you guys today cos the time taken to travel in and out of Melanie’s house is about 30 – 45 minutes. Anyway, hope you guys had fun although I know you guys really need a crazy guy like me to spur up the atmosphere. Hah!
