Teachers’ Day Eve

Sunday, September 4th, 2005

So woke up early that day, went to school for some boring celebration. But I really love the clips. Especially the ones by the VJC Icomp. They are really well done. Hilarious indeed and those teacher doing crazy stuff. Woo! Icomp members you guys rock! Pity that i didn’t join. Nvm. Wushu ain’t that bad. =)

So after that, went back to school. Just in time for a very screwed up celebration. It is definitely less entertaining than the ones in JC. But oh well, they are kids, what do you expect from them.

Anyway, the reason of revisiting our alma mata was actually to see our ex classmates and to some degree, our teachers of course. In another word, is just plain socialising. Hahas. Plenty of them change as they left the place. Maybe due to the relaxing of school rules in tertiary education ba.

We didn’t stay long in XMS as the teachers were lunching out at some place. So some ex classmate of mine went to Hougang Point to have our lunch and head on mindlessly to Orchard Road.

Orchard Road was pretty scary. Every junction of the street, there’s someone  know. And yes, I saw her. She changed alot. Her hair. And the distinctive feature that has changed is the way she smile. It is somehow more lively than the last time I saw her. Maybe she has overcome all her worries le ba. =) Time really flies. Bah~ Shouldn’t say much more.

So, in the end, we ended up in KFC, playing bridge and a new game that was introduced by Ramses. Quite fun actually. And we went back home after around an hour in Orchard Road as the girls went to watch Herbie~

What a nice way to celebrate Teachers’ Day..

Senior Farewell

Saturday, September 3rd, 2005

Vjc Yes! I know it, it has been ages since i last blogged. Blame this screwed up Friendster Blogs. Was trying to log on on 31st August. But somehow it doesn’t want me to blog till today.

Anyway, had a wonderful day a day before the 31st of August. After so long~ We finally had our Senior Farewell BBQ session. Sigh~ Kinda late, but at least we did something very mengingful. Yeap. Bet they are touched. =P

Many thanks to Michelle and her Mum and maid. Without them, I don’t think the BBQ will be so enjoyable. Yeps!Cimg2924_1  If you think that they are just those BBQ that you could find anywhere around East Coast Park, then you are seriously wrong. We had much more than those caterers can offer. Hahas. Shan’t elaborate more, cause I bet you people will drool.

But there is some confusion during the purchasing of food. Michelle thought that I was a muslim and i couldn’t take pork! WTH~ She’s so dumb las.. Hahs. But anyway, food still nice. Okies, say no more about food.

Actually the BBQ is meant for a triple kill. Teacher’s Day, Senior Farewell, and of cos Ming Zhou’s Birthday. However, Guo Lao Shi, Cai Lao Shi and Chen Lao Shi couldn’t make it. Sigh~ You people don’t know how much you had left out.

It was fun starting the fire. Hahas.Cimg2902  Almost all J1 guys get their turn to fan the fire with high frequency and with high amplitude.Cimg2899  It was hilarious seeing Yao Quan in horsestance and fanning the BBQ pit. Lol, much of a relay for all of us. And the output? Strong fire of course. =)

Oh! And I never see that stringing up the sausages can be such a chore for some of them. Hahas. See Chin How commenting on how lovely the sausages are ended up!Cimg2948  Hahas, Ian is like giving the Buay Song face behind him. Lol~

Hmmm. While me and Michelle are preparing for the surprise farewell cake, It rained. -__-|| How nice. So we had to move everything back into the sheltered area. =( So we had a very ncie farewell BBQ under the rain. Guess that even the sky is touched by our sincerity. =P Okiez,Cimg2963_1   There you go, our Tiramisu cake from the "adorable juniors". Lol. So every senior got their turn to cut the cake. Didn’t know that they have superb skill in cutting the cakes. Hahas. Everyone is vying for the smallest portion of the cake. The cake ain’t bad lehs! Hmph~ Oh yes! Many thanks to our future junior, who helped us to make our farewell gift for our senior! Ths collage is nicely done. Very meaningful indeed! Thanks Fang Yu! =)

And after everything, It’s time to celebrate Ming Zhou’s birthday. We bought Apple strudle for him. Hahas.  Cimg2979Yeps. And erms, deodorant as his present. Not to imply that he is smelly, but we (Mee, Mich, Yong Chaun and me) thought that it might somehow come in handy after wushu practice. =P So once again, Happy Belated Birthday! =)

Left Michelle’s house at around 11.30. Thanks to Shang Qian for giving me a ride to Serangoon Central. =) Reached room at 12 midnight and slpt at 1. Yawns, and I had to wake up at 6 the next day for some stupid celebration at school. Not worth the trip, seriously. Time should be better spent on having a nice slp at home instead. Hahs.
