Floorball =)

Friday, July 28th, 2006

I blog to keep some happy memories. I don’t blog just for you to see.

Just did something out of the blue yesterday. Never expected. But well, it’s just that come straight to my mind. Well, it’s appreciated. =)

School’s short today. If not because of the important, latic acid driven econs lecture, I would just sleep in my comfortable bed. Nonetheless, it’s always right to go with the flow in my life, and I was rewarded with a game of floorball. Did i say "a game".

Anyway, didn’t went out with the class. Not too sure where they going anyway. But I think a good floorball game simply own class outings. And the feeling after a record breaking 3 hour of agressive floorball match is really priceless. Didn’t expect myself to play for so long. I ain’t a good runner and i suck at endurance. But today just proves everything. =P Huge feat. And I think I only lost 2 games out of the hundreds of game we played. Damn Shuang. Especially you manage to score from a long range. Muahaha. Oh, Wai Kin is like some floorball sharpshooter sia. Nice team effort dude. Made lotsa floorball friends today. Haha. Floorball game next week! ok?

Mixed feelings recently. I’ve tried not to think about it, but it just drift about incessantly. To be or not to be? What are you thinking? What are those things? Is it best left untouched? or to fight a war silently? Of course, I think I’ll feel better if everyone is truthful and open to each other. =)

It’s quite hard to get noticed recently. Maybe prelim is around the corner.

Anyway, was quite disappointed to see some attitudes shown by people around me. Facts are not checked and an accusation is made. Reaction after an explantion? No sign of regret. Instead, what I get is a "haha whatever". Do you like to be in that spot too? It’s not the first time already and I get really irritated when someone accused me of something that I’ve never done before. Hope that you will think of the consequences before spouting nonsense out of your mouth.

Quite a fruitful day today. In conjunction with racial harmony day, I was invited back to Xinmin to teach the kids some Wushu moves today. Participation rate was as expected. =) But it was fun torturing the kids with Wu Bu Quan. LOL. Teaching was never fun like this before. See them shaking uncontrollably when I ask them to pause at Tan Tui, Xu Bu. LOL. Oh! Thanks Hui Shan for the lovely gift. Ms/Mrs Ho was telling me that you actually painstakingly went down to look for the gift. Well, your hardwork is greatly appreciated.

Somehow, the Wushu boys are much Siao On about racial harmony day than the girls. Quite funny to see Hong Wei in that golden chinese clothing and Jon in some green malay costume. Ah! And I saw a very nice pink kimono worn by.. worn by.. Oops! Sorry! I forget your name le. Jia Hui? Should be la. But apparently the worn didn’t last the whole day as the amount of costumes worn decreases as the air gets more humid. Somehow, I just feel that it’s a pity that the Wushu guys didn’t wear the Biao Yan Fu down together. LOL. It’ll be total coolness sia. Heh! =P

Sweet Memories

Nevermind about those boring Top 3 Achievements.

Nevermind about the tutorials.

Nevermind about not talking to the frequent people that I always talk to.

Cos there’s more important stuff to blog about during yesterday and today.

Firstly, I was totally impressed by Qing Hui’s outstanding powerpoint presentation of the European painting. Totally fantastic. Lots of beautiful paintings from past to present. Something like Renaissance, Rococo and Impressionism. And I definitely prefer the older art pieces than the newer modern ones like abstract art. By the way, to my S25 mates, fresco is not a painting on the wall. Just checked that out. Teacher can be wrong sometimes.

Mad rush after school. But it was a fun one cause I’m not the last one to arrive! =) Glad to see them again. Away from the facades and we spent a great time together. Dead Man Chest is a hilarious show. Sorry Mei for the constant cackling. Anyway, Happy 18th Birthday Mei in advance! Don’t ask me why am I so nice to you. Cos you worth more than everything in my life. =) And Des, get well soon yeah and sorry for making you finishing every single bit left though you’re sick. Oh yeah, you guys can check in to my room anytime lor. 20 bucks per night! =) Muggin allowed too if you can. =P

CIPed today. Dream On. Started donation at around 11am and ended at around 5.30pm.The shirt given is like some kind of tight fit shirt on me la. And Eunice shirt looks totally oversized. Met some S27 peeps at YMCA. Law was totally late. Went up and down orchard road. Saw lots of friends along the road, which I stayed and chat a little while the two of them waited for me. SORRY! Kinda surprised to see so many primary school friends around and they still remember my name while I’ve forgotten theirs. Sorry once again. Kinda bad at names, really. CIP was kinda crazy cos we actually just didn’t leave any stones unturned. EXCEPT for the stupid foreigners. But after being enlightened by Eunice, I’ve decided not to touch those people. Cos they just don’t get what we’re doing.

Lesson learnt:

1. Eunice got loads of money cos she bought 2 starbucks drink in an hour and another before we return the stuff. Just can’t get it when she actually exclaimed that it’s not worth to buy a 4 dollar duck noodle when a starbuck coffee cost her 6 bucks. Hah!

2. Approach the kids for donations cause they are not that mean to turn you off.

3. Just whack anyone on the street, including those carpark attendants and that Indian guy who opens the door at Mandarin Hotel.

4. Smokers tend to be more generous and willing to donate.

5. Looks can be deceiving, so although a Chao Ang Mo might look filthy rich by the way they dress, they wouldn’t donate as compared to a normal looking auntie that donated 10 bucks and she actually asked for the address to send a cheque to.

6. Free starbucks drinks can be taken from the shopping centre right opposite Mandarin Hotel.

7. Never donate to that Indian auntie at the cross road near Cineleisure cause she’s filthy rich already.

8. Some people actually called me Da Ge to swoop donation bags.

9. Aunties love me.

10. Cute TKGS girls too. LOL. I donated to one girl and the three donated to me. Good deal eh. =P

11. Somehow, I just can collect more than others. Oh I’m so arrogant. Head Butt Me!!!

Anyway, these are some jokes that we encountered la. Oh shit! And I’m actually stubborn enough to donate two dollar for some erm? Some thing. Yeah. CRAP!

Rushed down to Xinmin’s Track & Field BBQ. It’s a totally beautiful place. It was my first time there and I swear that I’ll go back there one day. It’s so near my place and I’ve never seen such beautiful houses in my entire life. One day, I’ll get some house like that and it will be great if Melanie is my neighbor. Her father works in a studio and he actually had all the sound system at home. So we actually had R&B songs the whole night through. Too bad the people don’t club, if not the platform will be a nice place to dance on. Melanie’s house has an outdoor hut that consist an 8 feet pool table which is always occupied by the professional snookers. Got a chance to play but I was soon relegated within minutes! Damn.

It’s a good time catching up with all the friends that left Xinmin. Army stories from Teck Wee, Li Qia and his experience of winning the 400m hurdles, Wilson with his nonsense. How I wish we can have this kind of session every year. Anyway, it’s quite sad that this BBQ session was actually held to officially close the Track & Field team as Mr Singh has no successors. It was kinda pity to see it end of, but the happy memories we shared together will never be forgotten. The tears, the blood, the sweat and the friendship that we forged have been etched in our hearts. See you guys soon. =) And to that young thrower that we had a little chat on the bus with, hope our conversation can enlighten you. =)

Thanks Dad for changing the bedsheets for me today!

Thanks Sister for the lovely tiramisu. Can be improved.=)

Thanks Law for accompanying me throughout today’s CIP when you actually can stay at home and sleep and rot.

Thanks Jonathan Loh and his pal for buying the CD reluctantly. LOL

Thanks Huan Yuet for the donation when you can actually donate 8 more bucks.

Thanks to the Xinmin Track & Field Team for such a wonderful dinner.

Thanks to Mr Singh for your guidance all these years in Xinmin and giving me a chance to lead the team.

And thanks to Mei and Des for everything yesterday! =D

Oh! Happy 18th Birthday Yi Jia and Yvonne!

And Sorry to the ATS Wushu people that I couldn’t get down to meet you guys today cos the time taken to travel in and out of Melanie’s house is about 30 – 45 minutes. Anyway, hope you guys had fun although I know you guys really need a crazy guy like me to spur up the atmosphere. Hah!

It’s not talking about me rejecting someone. So please! OH GOD!

Regret.

It’s kinda sad that i gave you a indefinite answer the other time on the phone. I’m sorry that you feel hurt and cheated. It really caught me by surprise.

After thinking about it for so long, I’ve a definite answer right now. If you ask me the same question again.

I’d say YES!

Of course i wish that it won’t just stop right there. Cause you know what i mean. =)
